This module for the chip TM1638, set the above three kinds of single chip microcomputer common peripheral circuit, the biggest characteristic is to simply take microcontroller three IO mouth can drive, scanning display and key scan don’t need microcontroller intervention, only need to register to display data related to reading and writing or testing buttons, save MCU resources.

8-Bit Digital LED TM1638 Key Display Module for Arduino has following features.

  •  With 8 keys, 8 LED, 8-bit digital tubes common cathode;
  •  Can directly connect with single chip such as STC;
  • Provide Arduino driving program;
  • Adopt TM1638 chip, has the common peripheral circuit in the mentioned 3 single chips. Its most remarkable feature is it only needs 3 IO of the single chip to drive, scan display and key scan do not need single chip but register to transmit data or test keys, meantime saving MCU source. Wire Connecting Method:

  • Connect VCC GND to 5V power,
  • connect  STB CLK DIO to single chip IO port.
